Cap-Chat is a town in the Canadian province of Québec, in the Regional County Municipality of Haute-Gaspésie, and in the administrative region of Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine. Its geographical co-ordinates are lat. 49°6′ N; long. 66°41′ W. Cap-Chat is found 16 km west of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, and 12 km east of Capucins. As of 2006[update], Cap-Chat's population is 2,777[1].

How to Have a Fairy Theme Birthday Party

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Card stock or construction paper
• Vellum
• Markers
• Small fairy pictures
• Glue
• Scissors
• Strands of white lights
• Streamers
• Balloons
• Cardboard box
• Glitter
• Wings
• Name tags
• Sandwiches and tea or punch

Step1
Fold a piece of pretty cardstock or construction paper in half. Cut a flower shape out of the paper, leaving the folded side intact. Cut a piece of vellum to fit inside and write the party details on. Glue it inside of the folded card. Glue a cut out fairy picture in the card as well, upright at the fold so that when the recipient opens the invitation, the little fairy will pop up.
Step2
Decorate with strands of white twinkling lights, pink and purple streamers and pastel balloons. Create a magical drawbridge from a cardboard box to place in the doorway of the room or entrance to the party. Dress the drawbridge up with glue and glitter. Hand each guest a beautiful pair of fairy wings as they enter the room, and a name tag stating their own personal fairy name. Let the guests know that for today they are all honorary fairies, and should call each other by their fairy names.
Step3
Serve the fairies tea sandwiches, which can be anything from cheese and crackers to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut out with flower or butterfly cookie cutters. Have fairy punch or tea served in tea cups or plastic cups with pretty stickers attached.
Step4
Print a variety of fairy or butterfly wings on card stock using your computer. Cut each wing out separately. Make sure you have a set of each type of wing for each girl. Set a timer and have the guests match up their sets of wings. Whichever guest matches up the most pairs within the time limit wins a prize. You can also play "Pin the Wings on the Fairy" and "Musical Flowers" using flowers cut from construction paper placed in a circle on the floor.
Step5
Create a fairy birthday cake by making a classic Barbie doll gown cake and embellishing her with wings. Or you might choose to have cupcakes rather than a traditional birthday cake; make them special by adding glittery sugar sprinkles or butterfly candies.
